This month’s group topic:
Managing Crises & Challenging Patients
October’s group will focus on handling crisis situations with patients such as suicidal or aggressive behaviors. Helpful crisis intervention resources will be shared with the group. We will also discuss other challenging patient issues such as boundary pushing, countertransference and lack of progress. Participants will have the opportunity to staff cases and gain ideas on some of their most challenging patients and learn strategies to avoid such challenges if possible.
The cost for 4 hour supervision groups is $85.

I am Vanessa Brown, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor. I gained the majority of my 20+ years of experience in the community mental health sector, working with individuals and families with a variety of mental health needs. I enjoy helping others achieve their goals. I provide supervision for LPC licensure through individual and small group sessions. Having earned my LPC Supervisor license in 2017, I have a wealth of experience as a clinical supervisor as well as experience providing therapy to a varied population.
